aMaZinG AcTiViTiEs

It is almost in the half of the school year. And I have gain more lore with the help of our teacher who are always there to teach us. In this subject ICT IV, I was amaze because I have learned much. My little knowledge in terms of computer literacy, gained a lot and became wider in this school year. Of course through the help of our beautiful teacher. We had accomplished many exercises and activities and for every activity that we must do, we gain more knowledge as we do it . On our last two activity which is the activity 6 and 7, I have learned that it is easy to do such thing if you will listen first to your teacher. I have learned the steps on how to put background color and image. And most importantly, I have learned that cooperation is an important thing in doing such an activity with your groupmates.
In this two activities, I have encountered problem but not quite hard. When I did my exercise 7, I forgot the next step after I had choose the image. And I thought that I would not be able to finish that exercise because I was running out of time.
I addressed my problem by asking help to my classmates and thank God, they are always there to assist especially our teacher. Without the help of my groupmates I was not able to finish my activity. And I had prove that "cooperation" makes work easier and faster.
Moving on I will keep in my mind, what I learned on this two activities. I will treasure it and used it if needed. And surely I can used it in the near future.

During My Sem-break

After the second periodical test, students of Ilocos Sur National High School were very happy. Because we, the students will have a one week vacation or our semestral break. Usually we called it sem-break in short and this usually scheduled at the last week of October up to the first week of November and I was very happy.
During the first and second day of sem-break, some of my classmates and me attended the Division Seminar Workshop of Children's Peace and the next day, we adopt a child. Taking good care of other people especially children is not to easy because the child that we adopted was very naughty, but I enjoyed the seminar.During my sem-break I spend time cleaning our house and taking good care of my nephew and niece. Sometimes, when I had nothing to do, I read books or watched the television or listen to the radio.
On October 29, 2008 Joanne and me went to the Vigan Center to interview midwife's, because we have a project in Mapeh about Reproductive Health Bill. This day was memorable because we went to different place, and Joanne is very nice because she treat my lunch that time. And on November 1 and 2, I was happy because my whole family visited the tomb of my brother. We lighted a candle, put a fresh flowers and pray for the soul of my brother to go to the heaven. This semestral break was memorable and full of experiences.

DIFFICULTIES ON HTML

The first quarter ended, and we students must be ready for the new lesson on our subject ICT IV. At the start of our lesson, our teacher gave us an introduction about HTML or the Hypertext Mark-up Language. The new learning that I have learned are to be more patient in terms of typing because it is more difficult than in typing in Microsoft Windows. I have learned also the use of a notepad.
On the first place, I thought that the new lesson which is the HTML is a very easy lesson topic but I was wrong. The problem that I have encountered, it is difficult for me in typing the Activity 1.
I addressed the problem in a way that asking a help to my classmate. She did not hesitate to help me, so I was very thankful. Joanne dictated the words and I just need to type it. And without her help, I was not able to finish the hands on activity.
Moving on I will not forget the learning that I have learned on this HTML. And I will treasure it, much more on the learning of "cooperation".

ADVENTURE IN RADAR

One of my most unforgettable experience ever since I was born in this world, is my experience last August 30, 2008. The day that my classmates, schoolmates, teachers and I went for a hike out in Radar. First and foremost I was anticipative, if it is easy or hard going in this place, how long is the road that I must walk on to reach the top, what can I see in this place and what will I learn on this adventure. In this journey on foot I learned a lot, sharing with one another, to be patient and I learned not to abdicate no matter how hard this adventure is. Also, I I erudite to discipline myself in terms of talking because the more you talk the more you feel weary. And the best learning that I have learned is to give importance to the environment especially the trees and plants.
Problems are unexpected, on our hike out I have encountered problems like, it's hard to breath as the altitude goes high and my feet was aching because I woare shoes. The challenge for me in this hike out is to reach the top because we will pass by seven mountains.
A problem has always a solution. I addressed my problems in a way that taking a rest for every 5-10 steps that i make, when we were just on a half on the hike out. I bring my slipper just in case my feet will suffer in pain but the worst thing is my slipper was destroyed up in the mountain. I addressed also the challenge by pursuing it and keep on thinking that the main goal of the hike out is to the top. It is worth it because I enjoy the journey on foot. I saw the beautiful nature, greeny environment, stream and birds. I'm happy for that adventure.
Learn small things and discover new things. Moving on i will apply the things that I learned from the hike out not only for me but the people around me. My experience in that hike out serve as my guide to pursue my studies until I have achieve my goal in life. For the sacrifices and hardship that I have suffered, I have realized that life isn't too easy yet full of challenges and happiness.

Learnings From Periodical Test And From NCAE

Our lessons in all our subject are done discuss from our teachers and my classmates in the first quarter. After that, we will have our first periodical test. During my first periodical test the new learning that I have learned is to be quiet while taking the test and review my answer if I've done earlier. And also I have learned that after taking the test, I should not talk because I may disturb my classmates who are still taking the test. My new discoveries that I have learned is that it is easier to answer if you review in the best way you can. During our National Career Assessment Examination or NCAE I have learned that reading and analyzing the directions and question very well to be able to get the correct answer.


In my first periodical test the problems that I have encountered are some parts of the test are not yet discuss but it is part of it, and some questions are not complete. And in my NCAE, the challenges that I have encountered is to answer the difficult interrogation.

During my first periodical test, I addressed the problems by asking to our adviser, what is the best way to answer the questions that are not complete. And during my NCAE I addressed the challenges by doing my best to answer the difficult questions and blacken the answer that for me is correct.

Moving on I will. . . . . . review and scan my notebooks every night so if the second periodical test will come, it is easier for me to recall the past lessons. Also I will continue to do the things that I have learned during the first periodical test and NCAE.

My Learnings Outside ICT

Everyday is a learning day. I have learned many things in my fourth year class. Like in my Science subject which is Physics, I have learned it's branches which may answer the questions about our environment. I have learned also the kinds of principle which are Pascal's, Archimedes and Bernoulli's principle. In my Math subject, I have learned the linear function, relation, function and quadratic function.

The problems or challenges that I have encountered in my Physics and Math subject are the formulas and equations that is hard for me to memorize. And sometimes I can't get the correct answer of the problem because I am poor in analysis.

I overcome these challenges in a way that I always scan my notebooks every night. To overcome my poor analysis is to read the problem correctly and analyze it very well. and I can addressed these challenges by listening to my teacher very well and ask her assistance.

Moving on I will study harder and listen to my teachers very well. And moving on I will review and scan my notebooks to be able to get good grades and be on top.

My Learnings in ICT IV

The new learning discoveries that I have learned in this subject ICT IV, I have learned how to enter in the internet world, the uses of internet and many more. I have learned how to create my first blog. Where we will post our activities.
The problems or challenges that I have encountered, sometimes I forgot my password and we cannot do sometimes our hands on activities because of internet connection are not connected. And I seldom help my groupmates because they are better when it comes to computer.
I addressed or overcome these challenges by asking my teacher and ask help to her. And with the help of my groupmates and classmates I was able to addressed these challenges.
Moving on I will learn more from this subject...and I will study hard and use the internet for my assignment and projects. Using the internet, I can learn and explore more about the things that happens aroubd the world. And I will apply the things that I have learned in this subject ICT IV.
